Who I am

I'm Javier, a CS student and solo founder who builds software that solves real problems. My approach is simple: pick a problem, ship something, and iterate fast.

I don't wait until I feel "ready." I learn on the fly, figure things out in the open, and let the work speak for itself. Right now I'm focused on JobTailor, an AI-powered job application tool I'm building from scratch.

When I'm not coding, I'm thinking about what to build next.

Paste a job URL. Get a tailored resume, cover letter, and interview prep.

What it does

You paste a Hiring Cafe job URL and upload your resume. JobTailor scrapes the job description, runs it through GPT, and produces an ATS-friendly resume, a role-specific cover letter, and an optional interview prep guide with 15 tailored Q&A pairs. Everything comes back as a downloadable ZIP, saved to your account history.

The vision

Most people lose out not because they're underqualified, but because their application doesn't speak the recruiter's language. I built JobTailor to fix that without making it a chore. Upload once, generate for any role.
